The Process, History & Stages.
We just purchased a 9,000 sq ft facility that is one of the oldest buildings in Mathews, Va.
It's was built in 1926 and was the site of the old Twigg Motors, a Chevrolet & Oldsmobile dealer for many years, then it change hands and became Christie's and now the stewardship has fallen to us. Like when we restore a car, we plan a complete demolition of the building right down to the bare walls and floor after that, only then we can begin the renovation process.
There will be 3 stages in the rebuild:
1) It will be a Warehouse for our collection first, then
2) It will become a Museum & Gallery, then
3) In the final stage we will hopefully be adding a Gathering place & Wine bar.
2013 we also plan to start the first annual Vintage/Mathews Car show. Dates have not be finalized yet but in will probably be held sometime in June every year.

The address is in historic Mathews, the front of the building is right on Main St. The back & property is on Put-in Creek a waterway which is a tidal tributary of Virginia's east river feeding into Mobjack which opens to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay.
